and families in our area.
"Via our mobile kitchen, our cooking and food education projects are
designed to inspire everyone to make better food choices through
practical, innovative and fun cooking workshops aimed at all ages
Cooking has been shown to be an excellent engagement
tool, for people and individuals from any background
who may have multiple disadvantages and are at a
transition point in their lives. As a side-by-side therapy,
the workshops have proven to be an excellent tool to
captivate and stimulate people’s interest and
enjoyment of food as well as building their
self-confidence and helping to reduce social isolation.
We provide a wide variety of workshops to suit your school,
community or business, or we can tailor workshops to meet your
individual needs. All participants in our workshops have the
opportunity to prepare, and cook foods, making sure all the
groups are positively engaged.
We take care of the planning, preparation, food and delivery to provide engaging cooking sessions
on-site via our mobile kitchen.
Our workshops are risk assessed and all staff are first aid trained, DBS approved and fully insured.
Utilising affordable, and accessible ingredients, and most importantly, making meals that the people want to eat and are easily reproduced in the home, our cooking sessions promote learning basic cooking skills, sharing recipes and highlighting the benefits of family mealtimes and eating together.
